The existing fendering system was replaced by new and modern technology fenders using high grade rubber suitable for a cargo ship of 30,000 DWT.

The terminal will serve as a loading and unloading hub for passengers bound for Bataan, Batangas, Mindoro and Aklan.
The pier consists of an open type finger wharf with reinforced concrete deck supported by concrete piles. The Pier is 15m wide by about 100m long, and was designed for light vehicle access on the pier deck. The pier deck will be protected by rubber fenders and will be fitted with navigational lighting.
